Neil H. Simon is a fourth-generation Oregonian with international experience in journalism, government, and public relations.

Passionate about connecting Oregonians to the wider world, Neil was the global communications director for Tektronix. He served international clients as executive vice president at Resolute Strategic Services and Big Horn Communications. Neil has deep experience in crisis communications and cybersecurity preparedness honed at Gartner, where he advised Fortune 100 security leaders.

Through his work in the U.S. Congress and as a diplomat in Denmark, he has advised lawmakers across 57 countries. His policy work has resulted in state and federal laws that sanction human rights abusers, increase transparency in the energy sector, improve port and homeland security, and strengthen election governance.

Neil is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, having produced films about Oregon women in politics (Shattered), a secret FBI Japanese Internment Camp (Prisoners and Patriots), and power of bipartisanship (A House Divided-United).

He is a member of the World Oregon advisory board.
